I am in Michigan so I don’t know for sure so you will have to check your area. Here you have to have a liquor license. Each county has a limited number so you have to make sure one is available or you can’t sell liquor. You need liability insurance, some county’s require a bond when selling liquor. Also you have to be 21. You will want to get an LLC or INC license before taking out any loans or putting anything in your name. This protects you. It makes the LLC or INC the responsible party for debt so if you fail you can let the company die and not kill your own finances.
